ANAHEIM -Carter Hutton will be back in net for the Buffalo Sabres when they visit the Anaheim Ducks to conclude their five-game Pacific Division road trip on Sunday. The rest of the lineup will remain the same from their 5-1 win in Los Angeles.
The approach will be largely the same as it was in that game, too.
"I believe we only gave up six even-strength chances against, so a lot of the same remedies into tonight although we're facing a very good Anaheim team that I believe is much faster," Sabres coach Phil Housley said.
"They're going to try to establish their forecheck, they like to start fast, so we're well aware of that."

GAME PREVIEW

The Sabres can finish the road trip above .500 with a win. They opened with a victory in Arizona then dropped games in Vegas and San Jose before earning the win in Los Angeles.
Jeff Skinner has six points in four games on the trip (4+2), including a hat trick against the Kings. Jack Eichel (0+3) and Jason Pominville (1+2) tallied three points in that game and the Sabres held the Kings to just 20 shots.
"I think right now, obviously, we've put ourselves in a great opportunity to finish this road trip off the right way," Housley said.
Hutton is coming off a 34-save performance in the loss to the Sharks on Thursday. Linus Ullmark opened the back-to-back set with 19 saves against the Kings.
Pregame coverage on MSG-B starts at 7:30 p.m. with the GMC Game Night Pregame Show, or you can listen live on WGR 550. The puck drops at 8.

Scouting the Ducks

Anaheim is 5-2-1 despite allowing a league-high average of 37 shots per game. The Ducks allowed 45 shots in a 3-1 loss to Vegas on Saturday.
Goaltending has been their strength. John Gibson has posted a .949 save percentage while making a league-high 244 saves in seven starts, but he'll have the day off after starting on Saturday. The Sabres will instead face Ryan Miller, who's stopped 35 of the 37 shots he's faced in two appearances.
"Yeah, but I think you look at their team and they're very aggressive on the forecheck, they're very aggressive in their transition game and they don't give up a lot," Housley said. "They're a top-five team in five-on-five goals against so we're going to have to fight through to get to the net like we did against L.A."
