The Buffalo Sabres today announced a slate of events that will mark the return of ‘Tux and Pucks’ for the team’s game against division rival Ottawa on Dec. 31 at First Niagara Center. The night will include several chances for fans to win guaranteed pots from the Sabres Alumni 50/50 raffle, a special ‘Tux and Pucks’ tailgate tent party before the game and contests with chances to win prizes throughout the game.

Fans will have a chance to win one of six guaranteed prize amounts – totaling $30,071 – from the Sabres Alumni 50/50 raffle, including a grand prize with a guaranteed minimum of $20,011. After the grand prize drawing, there will be an additional five drawings, each with a guaranteed minimum prize amount of $2,012. Tickets for the 50/50 raffles are $1 each, with proceeds going to support the Buffalo Junior Sabres, the Alumni Scholarship Program and the Sabres Foundation.

The evening starts at 5 p.m. with the Buffalo Sabres Tailgate Tent Party Presented by Labatt Blue Light. Partygoers will receive New Year’s noisemakers and hats, as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast prior to puck drop at 7 p.m.

Fans attending Saturday night’s game will receive festive handouts upon entering the arena and will have a chance to win other prizes throughout the night. A ‘Tweet Your Tux’ contest during the game will allow fans to tweet a picture of themselves wearing their tuxedos to @SabresDotCom for a chance to win an autographed puck and have their picture put up on the videoboard.

Additionally, fans who are looking to dress in their New Year’s Eve best can take advantage of a special offer from ‘Tux and Pucks’ sponsor Tuxedo Junction. Simply bring your game ticket to any Tuxedo Junction to receive a complete tuxedo rental for $20.12. The offer will run up through game time on Saturday.
