Buffalo Sabres head coach Phil Housley said he'd try to cram as many American players into tonight's preseason lineup as possible because it's the annual Kraft Hockeyville USA game.
True to his word, six U.S.-born forwards (Jack Eichel, Kyle Okposo, Casey Mittelstadt, Justin Bailey, C.J. Smith and Andrew Oglevie) and four U.S.-born defensemen (Zach Bogosian, Jake McCabe, Casey Nelson and William Borgen) are on the roster.

And that doesn't even count forward Danny O'Regan and defenseman Lawrence Pilut, who were born in Germany and Sweden, respectively, while their American fathers were playing pro hockey overseas.
Here's the Sabres' roster:

Buffalo's opponent, the Columbus Blue Jackets, also released their game roster:

So it should be a good showing for the people of Clinton, N.Y., who were awarded the fourth annual Kraft Hockeyville USA game after winning an online vote. As a result, Clinton Arena has received $150,000 in upgrades and the opportunity to host tonight's preseason game. If you're following the @HockeyvilleUSA Twitter account, you're well aware that festivities are ongoing.

The Sabres will face off against Columbus at 7 p.m. on NBCSN and WGR 550, where you can hear Dan Dunleavy and Rob Ray call the action. Stay tuned for full morning skate coverage and postgame reaction here on Sabres.com.
