Buffalo Sabres GM Darcy Regier announced today the Sabres have activated D Teppo Numminen from the Injured Reserve list. In addition, D Marc-Andre Gragnani has been returned to Portland (AHL).

Numminen has missed the last six games after suffering a small fracture of the jaw vs. Carolina on January 17 when he was struck in the face by a puck. The 40-year-old Numminen had played in all 45 games prior to the injury, collecting 14 points (2+12).

Gragnani played in all four games of Buffalo’s recent west coast trip, after being recalled from Portland on January 26.

There are still tickets available for many home games, including Feb. 4 vs. Toronto and Feb. 6 vs. Montreal. For tickets or more information, call 1-888-GO-SABRES or visit www.sabres.com.
