The Buffalo Sabres announced today that Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan will sing “God Bless America” prior to next Wednesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

A brass trio from the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will precede Tynan with their rendition of “O Canada!” BPO principal trumpet player Alex Jokipii will lead the Brass Trio.
As a special added bonus for fans attending the game, Tynan will participate in a pre-game autograph signing in front of the Sabres Store from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Fans can also pick up his new holiday CD “My Gift of Christmas Song” available exclusively in Buffalo at the Sabres Store or online at 
The performance will serve as a prelude to Tynan’s December 30 concert with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo. Net proceeds from Tynan’s December 30 concert will benefit the The Buffalo Sabres Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the Western New York region. In the process, the foundation strives to assist worthwhile organizations that make this region a better place to live and work. The primary focus of the foundation is to assist youth hockey initiatives, children's health and wellness initiatives, specifically those that serve the underprivileged and handicapped, and to provide support to non-profit organizations and groups that provide vital services to those in need in our community.
