The Buffalo Sabres announced on Monday their 2007 pre-season schedule. Buffalo will play six games in nine days, including two home dates and a road game in North Dakota.

The Sabres open their six-game slate at HSBC Arena on Friday September 21 against Columbus, before hitting the road for four straight games. Included is a stop at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. on Monday, September 24 for a neutral site game against the Minnesota Wild. This game will be a homecoming for Sabres forward Drew Stafford, who played his college hockey at “The Ralph” as a member of the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Buffalo finishes the pre-season at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, September 29.

Friday, September 21    Buffalo vs. Columbus, 7:00 p.m. (HSBC Arena)
Sunday, September 23   Buffalo at Columbus, 5:00 p.m. (Nationwide Arena)
Monday, September 24   Buffalo at Minnesota, 8:00 p.m. (Grand Forks, ND)
Wednesday, September 26   Buffalo at Toronto, 7:30 p.m. (Air Canada Centre)
Friday, September 28   Buffalo at Pittsburgh, 7:30 p.m. (Mellon Arena)
Saturday, September 29  Buffalo vs. Pittsburgh, 7:00 p.m. (HSBC Arena)
Tickets for both home pre-season games will go on sale Tuesday, September 4 at 9 a.m. Pricing for both games has yet to be determined.
