Preseason Schedule Announced

The Buffalo Sabres today announced their 2006 preseason schedule. The Sabres will play six games in 13 days, including one in Hamilton, Ontario.

Buffalo will take to the ice just once at HSBC Arena, along with four road games, and one neutral site game at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton on September 23 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Below is the complete preseason schedule:

Monday, Sept. 18 -- Buffalo at Toronto, 7:30 p.m. (Air Canada Centre)
Tuesday, Sept. 19 -- Buffalo at Columbus, 7 p.m. (Nationwide Arena)
Friday, Sept. 22 -- Buffalo at Ottawa, 7:30 p.m. (Scotiabank Place)
Saturday, Sept. 23 -- Buffalo vs. Pittsburgh @ Hamilton, Ont., 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 29 -- Buffalo at Pittsburgh, 7:30 p.m. (Mellon Arena)
Saturday, Sept. 30 -- Pittsburgh at Buffalo, 7 p.m. (HSBC Arena)

Tickets for the September 30 game vs. Pittsburgh will be at Value pricing, and will go on sale Friday September 1 at 9 a.m. As previously announced, this game will mark the debut of Buffalo's new logo and uniform color scheme.
