The Buffalo Sabres today announced that the next installment of the team’s fourth-annual Power Play Luncheon series will take place on Friday, Feb. 28.

The three-part lunch series takes place in the First Niagara Center 100 Level Lexus Club. The series offers corporations and individuals an exclusive first-hand look at the Sabres’ organization, with all proceeds from the event to benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

The second of three luncheons, “The Rafters Roundtable” is scheduled for noon on Feb. 28. The luncheon will feature Pat LaFontaine, Gilbert Perreault, Rene Robert and Danny Gare, all of whom are part of the Buffalo Sabres Rafters Club. The event will follow the design of a roundtable discussion, with all four members telling stories and reminiscing about their playing days with the team.

Individuals and corporate groups interested in attending the luncheon can purchase a table for 10 at a price of $350, or a single lunch for $40.

The dates and guest speakers for the final luncheon will be announced at a later date.

Attendees will be asked to adhere to a business casual dress code. Free parking will be available in the ramp adjacent to First Niagara Center.

The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a New York State not for profit corporation that is committed to stimulating, supporting and encouraging organizations that serve Western New York which are committed to youth hockey initiatives; the health, wellness and education of underprivileged /disadvantaged youth and military personnel; and physically and mentally challenged athlete, by providing financial generosity and other platforms for their endeavors.
