I've got a little bit of time today, so let's answer some fan submitted questions.  Like always, these are actually questions that I get emailed to me from the readers.

Other than HSBC, what is your favorite arena to play in? - Pat from Boston, M.A.

"It would have to be the Bell Centre in Montreal since I'm from there, and my family and friends live there."

What is the funniest thing that has happened in the locker room? - Ashley & Amelia from Lockport, N.Y.

"It didn't happen in the locker room.  Plus, I think the media actually has it on tape.

"It would have to be when Andrew [Peters] hit the Zamboni driver in the head with a puck.

"The story goes like this... Petey was out on the ice before practice during the playoffs the year we lost to Carolina.  It was an optional skate so only a few guys were out there.  Andrew didn't see the Zamboni driver was in the net and he shot the puck.  It hit the guy right in the head.

"Petey was like, 'Holy [explicative]!'

"He threw his gloves up in the air, sprinted down the ice and went sliding into net to make sure the guy wasn't hurt.  I wasn't actually there, but the way the guys were explaining the story ... everyone was laughing like crazy.

"It's not a funny accident and something we would laugh at normally, but once we found out the Zamboni driver was ok, Petey's reaction was hilarious."

After hockey season is over and you have time to kick back and relax, what's your favorite vacation spot? - Kellie from Avalon, C.A.

"You know I've never really taken a big vacation yet.  I usually go back home, relax and see my friends.  But this year, I'm definitely going to do something.  I like playing golf and kicking back that way.

"So I don't really know yet.  I'll have to talk with my girlfriend a little bit and we'll have to figure out a  spot."

Would you ever consider fighting someone in a game? - Nicole Gulisano from Depew, N.Y.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind if the opportunity presented itself.  I'm not going to be looking for it. But if something happens to somebody and I have to jump in, I don't see why I wouldn't."

What is your favorite restaurant in WNY and what do you usually order?  Charlie Schutt from Wheatfield, N.Y.

"Steak is probably my favorite food.

"I really like Hutch's.  It's probably one of my favorite places.  Some others would be Nektar, Bacchus or the Chop House."

Do you have any other favorite professional sports teams, like in football or baseball? - Kaitlin from Buffalo, N.Y.

"This year anyway, I liked the Bills a lot.  I went to pretty much every game that I could.  But I've always been a Packers fan since my family on my mom's side is from there."

What do you do on a typical game day? I know I've seen quite a few of the players at Chef's at noon, but what else is normally done before the game? - Samantha from Buffalo, N.Y.

"I try to skate in the mornings if I can.  After that I just go home.  Like you said, a lot of guys like to go eat at restaurants, but I just head home for lunch.  I watch TV for a little bit and usually try to nap.

"Say the game is a 7 p.m. start time, I usually try to be asleep by 1:00 or 1:30 p.m.  and get a couple hours rest in.  I probably get up around 3:30 p.m.

"I like to get to the arena early, so it's basically get up and get to the rink.  I get ready after that here."

Do you have any piercings or tattoos? - Jen from Buffalo, N.Y.

"Nope.  Nothing."
