The Buffalo Sabres announced today they will be auctioning autographed game-worn jerseys from the 2006-07 season. The auction will begin on Monday, March 26 at 5 p.m., concluding Wednesday, April 4 at 9 p.m.
This unique online auction will consist of 23 game-worn and autographed Sabres third jerseys with the vintage logo, each one worn by a Sabres player this season (in games played from Oct.4-Dec. 19/06). Each jersey will come with a certificate of authenticity.
The Sabres will also be auctioning autographed TPS Pink Hockey Sticks that were used March 16 in Tampa. Andrew Peters used his stick in the game, while the rest of the team used their pink sticks in pre-game warm-ups. NHL stars throughout the league used these specially-designed pink hockey sticks in support of breast cancer research.
