The North Buffalo Bisons 10U Girls team continues their excellent play this season winning the second round of the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League playoffs.

The Lower Lakes league is comprised of teams from all of Ontario and Western New York. Moving on to the playoffs, the Bisons played the North Halton Twisters in the first round in a best of three series wining in two straight convincingly with scores of 4-0 and 4-1.
The Bisons played the Burlington Barracudas in the round two and won the series in two straight games 4-2 and 3-1. Scoring in game one came from Rachel dePerio, Coaty Ostendorf (2), and Abby Cleary. Assists went to Michele Robillard and Ostendorf. In game two goals were scored by Abby Welch, Cleary, and dePerio. Assists went to Cleary (2).

Next up is St. Catharines where the winning team earns the privilege of playing in season ending play down tournament in Oshawa, Ontario versus the other top three regional teams from Ontario.

The Buffalo Bisons Girls Hockey organization provides the most competitive girls teams in Ontario and Western New York from the 19U age group down to the 10U level.
