While there is still no timetable on Ryan Miller
’s return to the lineup, Head Coach Lindy Ruff updated his injury status Friday afternoon following practice.
“Ryan hasn’t had any setbacks, he is still progressing” Ruff said. “His workload is getting bigger in the rehab department, riding the bike and doing off-ice [workouts]. When it gets to the point where he’s ready to get on the ice, he’ll be back.”
The goaltender suffered a high ankle sprain Feb. 21 against the New York Rangers after taking a hit from Scott Gomez behind the net. Miller has missed the last eight games.
