Miller led all NHL goaltenders in victories, posting a 9-3-0 record with a 2.30 goals-against average, .932 save percentage and one shutout as the Sabres improved to 26-19-5 overall, 57 points and seventh in the Eastern Conference.
Miller started 12 of the Sabres' 13 games in January and allowed two goals or fewer eight times, including a 28-save, 2-0 win over Phoenix to finish the month. He faced 40-plus shots on back-to-back nights turning aside 43 in a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Jan. 9 and 45 in a 3-1 loss to Detroit on Jan. 10. Overall, Miller has posted a record of 24-13-4, with a 2.53 goals-against average, .917 save percentage and four shutouts.
