Clarke MacArthur will get his second chance at cracking the Buffalo Sabres lineup as the rookie was recalled from the Rochester Americans on Friday morning.

MacArthur was effective in his first stint with the club this season, registering three goals - including an overtime game winner against Boston on Nov. 7 - and four points in 10 games.

MacArthur, Buffalo’s third round pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft (74th overall), leads the Amerks  with 29 points (11+18) in 24 games this season.

MacArthur led the Amerks in scoring last season with 63 points (21+42) in 51 games. He was also selected to the Memorial Cup Tournament All-Star Team in 2004, as well as the WHL East First All-Star Team in 2005.
