The Buffalo Sabres have announced that fans can now take home some of their favorite memories of “The Aud” through a series of three limited edition framed collectibles with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
There are three different framed pieces to choose from: Gilbert Perreault, Pat LaFontaine, and Brad May’s memorable “May Day” goal. Each frame comes complete with an autographed photo signed by the player, and an accompanying photo featuring the exterior of the Memorial Auditorium. Also included within each frame is an actual brick (4”x2”x.5”) cut from the Aud.
The 26”x22” piece is gallery framed within a solid black frame; is double matted (blue over gold), and comes with two original Sabres pins and a detailed inscription plate. These collectibles sell for $250 each, and can purchased online at Sabres.com or at the Sabres Store inside HSBC Arena.
