JOHN KING AND KELSEA BALLERINI TO PERFORM AT SABRES UNPUCKED ON THURSDAY

by Staff Writer / Buffalo Sabres

Well, everybody knows Thursday night is going to be a fun night at First Niagara Center.

The second-annual “Sabres UnPucked” event, an evening of music with members of the Buffalo Sabres, will be held on the arena floor starting at 6:30 p.m. Black River Entertainment recording artists Kelsea Ballerini and John King will also perform on stage with the players, coaching staff and members of the Alumni Association.

John King headlined the event last year was well. His hit single, “Tonight Tonight,” reached Top 40 on Mediabase and the Top 20 on the Music Row Chart and can be purchased on iTunes.

He’s currently on tour and working on his debut album.

Ballerini, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, has seen her debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” reach No. 30 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Thursday will mark her first appearance at Sabres UnPucked.

She’ll also be making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Valentine’s Day. Her performance will be broadcasted on WSM Radio and online at opry.com.

You can purchase her self-titled E.P. on her website and on iTunes.

UnPucked will also feature an auction and raffle of collections and memorabilia from a variety of top 40 recording artists as well as the Sabres organization. Sabres players, coaches and alumni in attendance will serve as guest bartenders throughout the evening, and will be available for photos with fans in attendance.

General admission tickets are now on sale for $35 online or by calling 716-855-4452. Anyone who purchases a ticket to UnPucked will receive a Sabres/Labatt Beer Sock and a free Labatt to put inside of it, courtesy of the Sabres and our Proud Beer Sponsor, Labatt.

All proceeds from Sabres UnPucked will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
