Jochen Hecht has missed the last few days of training camp because of an injury, and head coach Lindy Ruff has already ruled him out of all three of Buffalo’s weekend games starting Friday in Toronto. Ruff said Hecht’s injury was the result of a collision with teammate Shaone Morrisonn that took place during Sunday’s second day of on-ice sessions.

“He ran into Morrisonn, cut his lip and got stitches. A little bit of it is just being precautionary here. He’ll probably be practicing in full by next week.

Ruff also revealed his goalie rotation for the weekend, saying that Ryan Miller will be the first Sabres netminder to get a full game under his belt this preseason when they visit Toronto on Friday. Ruff also said that Jhonas Enroth will play all 60 minutes at home against the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
