The Buffalo Sabres announced today they will be auctioning autographed game-worn jerseys from the 2006-07 season.

This unique online auction will consist of 21 game-worn and autographed blue Sabres  jerseys in the new blue and gold colors, each one worn by a Sabres player this season between December 14, 2006 and February 10, 2007.   Each jersey will come with a Sabres authenticity number.

The Sabres will also be auctioning a 2006-2007 autographed team poster and a hockey stick signed by Chris Drury.

The auction begins today at 5 p.m., and concludes Tuesday, May 22 at 9 p.m.   Fans can access the auction by clicking here or through the auction section on

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, a non-profit foundation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life of everyone throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario.  In the process, the foundation strives to assist worthwhile organizations that make this region a better place to live and work.  The primary focus of the foundation is to assist youth hockey initiatives, non-profit organizations and groups that provide vital services to those in need in our community.
