The Buffalo Sabres today announced that defenseman Chris Butler will again donate Sabres tickets to soldiers as part of the “Tickets for Troops” program. Butler will provide a pair of tickets to a different military member from Western New York starting with Sunday’s preseason game against Philadelphia, and continuing for each of Buffalo’s 41 regular season home games this season.

Butler first participated in the program last year, citing a personal appreciation for the dedication that American soldiers show as the reason for his interest.

Military members who would like to be considered for these tickets can visit this page to complete the Tickets for Troops application. The seats are located in Sec 100, Row 18.

Tickets for Troops is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 to show appreciation for and give thanks to the members of the military for the hardships they endure and the sacrifices they make while on deployment.
