The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Brett Murray to a one-year contract worth $750,000, the team announced Monday.
Murray split time between Buffalo and the Rochester Americans (AHL) last season. In 19 games with the Sabres, he recorded his first career points, putting up two goals and four assists.

In Rochester, the 6-foot-6, 228-pound native of Bolton, Ontario finished the season with a career-high 32 points (15+17) through 52 games. He posted six points (3+3) in 10 playoff games.
Murray, 23, was selected by the Sabres in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft (99th overall).
Forward Arttu Ruotsalainen and goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen are Buffalo's remaining unsigned restricted free agents.
