The Sabres have signed defensemen Kale Clague and Jeremy Davies to one-year, two-way contracts each worth $750,000. The team has also signed defenseman Chase Priskie to a one-year, two-way contract worth $800,000.

Clague, 24, played an NHL career-high 36 games last season for the Los Angeles Kings and Montreal Canadiens, tallying 10 points (2+8) and averaging 16:44. A second-round draft pick by Los Angeles in 2016, Clague has 70 points (16+54) in 74 career AHL contests. He was named to the AHL All-Star Game as a member of Ontario in 2019-20.
Davies, 25, tallied two assists in six games for the Nashville Predators last season. He had 31 points (6+25) in 54 games with AHL Milwaukee. The left-shot defenseman was a seventh-round pick by Nashville in 2016.
Priskie, 26, made his NHL debut last season and went on to total four games with the Florida Panthers. He tallied 31 points (8+23) in 54 contests with AHL Charlotte.
