The offense has certainly been clicking recently. The Sabres have scored at least four goals in five of their past six games. Through 25 games, they're second in the NHL In goals with 95, just three behind Dallas.
In four games last week, Dylan Cozens led the team with nine points (4+5), including back-to-back three-point efforts on Thursday and Sunday.
He became the fourth Sabres skater aged 21 or younger to record three or more points in consecutive games, according to @SabresPR. Dave Andreychuk (February 8 to 9, 1984), Gilbert Perreault (December 19 to 23, 1971) and Pierre Turgeon (October 13 to 17, 1990) also accomplished the feat with Buffalo.
Six Sabres - Cozens, Tage Thompson, Jeff Skinner, Rasmus Dahlin, and Cozens' linemates Jack Quinn and JJ Peterka - are all currently riding four-game point streaks heading into Wednesday's contest.
