The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Linus Weissbach to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000, the team announced Monday.

A product of Goteborg, Sweden, Weissbach ranked fourth on the Rochester Americans with 47 points (20+27) in 69 regular-season contests in 2022-23. During postseason play, the 25-year-old tallied three goals and seven assists in 12 games played.

Selected by the Sabres in the seventh round of the 2017 NHL Draft, the right winger has compiled 84 points in 136 games over the last two seasons with the Amerks.
