20221020 Sabres Reverse Retro Mediawall

The Buffalo Sabres will debut a redesigned version of the black and red jerseys the team wore from 1996 until 2006 as part of adidas and the NHL's Reverse Retro 2022 program, the league announced today.
The 1996 white buffalo head jersey will be remixed in the current royal blue and gold color scheme.
According to the NHL, the original modern oversized stripe construction is retained, but the appearance of the blocking is simplified to emphasize the royal and gold. The swooping body stripes and horn-shaped outline on the upper arm are unique design markers to this uniform. The center crest is also enhanced by raised dimensional treatments with raised eyebrow, horn and hair ruff.
On all Reverse Retro jerseys, the current NHL Shield logo is remixed in vintage orange and black colors.
Buffalo will wear the Reverse Retro jerseys eight times. The first time will be on November 2 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at KeyBank Center. The Penguins will also be wearing their Reverse Retros for that game.
