Watch Eric Staal score his 1st goal with the Sabres

Eric Staal scored his first goal as a member of the Sabres during the first period of the team's game against the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena on Friday.
The goal gave the Sabres a 1-0 with 6:27 remaining in the opening period. Victor Olofsson stripped the puck from Capitals defenseman Zdeno Chara behind the Washington net and promptly passed to Staal, who buried a one-time shot from the slot.
