The Buffalo Sabres today announced they will be holding an online auction of game-worn alternate (third) jerseys from the 2009-10 season. Each jersey will come with a certificate of authenticity. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
The jerseys were worn at the end of the regular season, and during the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs against Boston. The auction will begin today at 5 p.m., and conclude Monday, November 1 at 9 p.m. Fans can access the auction by logging onto auction section of Sabres.com

is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the Western New York region.
