The Buffalo Sabres Foundation will be holding their first in-game auction of the season this Friday, October 17 when Buffalo takes on the Vancouver Canucks.

Fans will be able to bid on a number of items including signed jerseys, photos, a meet and greet with a Sabres player and much more. Here is a full list of the items up for auction:
  • Autographed Ryan Miller jersey
    ($175 minimum bid)
  • Autographed Jason Pominville jersey
    ($175 minimum bid)
  • Autographed Pat LaFontaine jersey
    ($175 minimum bid)
  • Custom framed Ryan Miller autographed photo
    ($100 minimum bid)
  • Custom framed Maxim Afinogenov
    autographed photo
    ($100 minimum bid)
  • Custom framed Patrick Kane autographed photo ($100 minimum bid)
  • Buffalo Sabres 2006-07 team signed stick
    ($100 minimum bid)
  • Buffalo Sabres Goalie Mask, Signed by Ryan Miller
    ($100 minimum bid)
  • Autographed Paul Gaustad Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Stick used in pre-game skate against Tampa Bay on March 16, 2007

  • Meet and greet with a Sabres player

Bidding will open Friday at 5:30 p.m. on the west end of the pavilion adjacent to Sabretooh’s House and conclude at the beginning of the third period. Those wishing to bid can use cash or credit cards, but no proxy bidding will be allowed. Winners will be notified by cell phone during the third period and will be able to pick up their prizes in Account Services, located on the ground floor of the pavilion.

Portions of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the Western New York region. In the process, the foundation strives to assist worthwhile organizations that make this region a better place to live and work. The primary focus of the foundation is to assist youth hockey initiatives, children's health and wellness initiatives, specifically those that serve the underprivileged and handicapped, and to provide support to non-profit organizations and groups that provide vital services to those in need in our community.

Individual game tickets for all home games are now on sale. With a limited number of games down to single seats, there are still good tickets available for many home games including Friday against Vancouver.
