Injury updates from head coach Lindy Ruff following Friday's morning skate...

Tim Connolly (Hip)
Missed the last four games.

Is Tim a possibility for tonight?

"Tim won't play tonight."

Is he improving?

"He's about the same."

Is there any thought of just shutting him down for the remainder of the season?

"We're going to just keep evaluating him."

Nathan Paetsch (Concussion)
Missed last three games but returned to practice on Friday.

What is Paetsch's status?

"He's doing better and was allowed to come out and skate - exercise - in a non-contact sense.  So he's moving along and that's encouraging."

Teppo Numminen (Heart Surgery)
Hasn't played this season, but returned to skate on Friday.

How did Teppo look today?

"He looked like Teppo.

"It was nice to see him out there again; out there handling pucks.  He's got a ways to go to be ready to play though."

Is there any realistic shot that he can play with eight games left?

"Like I said yesterday, I'm not going to put any timetable on it.  I'm not going to rule anything out and we're just going to approach it from a day-to-day basis."
