Maxim Afinogenov is slowly making the climb up the Buffalo Sabres All-Time Record books.

It's not that surprising, really.  Afinogenov is one of the longest tenured Sabres with eight seasons under his belt.  A constant production over a span that long with work you into the record books.

While his 2007-08 campaign was plagued with injuries, and ultimately, ended somewhat in disappointment with just 28 points (10+18) in 56 games, Afinogenov is the only current Sabres player to be highlighted in the Top 30 of all three main offensive categories.

Points -
Afinogenov ranks 19th with 314 career points in a Sabres uniform, and with just 17 points next season, he could pass Jim Lorentz (331), Christian Ruuttu (331), Mike Ramsey (329), and Pierre Turgeon (323).

[Note: Vanek's 45 power-play goals is 15th all-time.  Andreychuck is the NHL and Sabres all-time leader with 161.]
