This unique on-line auction will consist of 23 replica Sabres jerseys in the classic blue and gold colors, each one worn by a Sabres player during the pre-game on-ice jersey retirement ceremony. Each authentic CCM jersey will have number 18 on the back, the Sabres player name plate, and will be customized and autographed by both the player and Gare himself. The jersey will also have a white patch on the front with a blue number 18 trimmed in gold that was also worn during the game on November 22.

The auction begins on Wednesday, November 23 at 1 p.m. ET, and concludes Monday, December 5 at 9 p.m. ET.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, a non-profit foundation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life of everyone throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario. In the process, the foundation strives to assist worthwhile organizations that make this region a better place to live and work. The primary focus of the foundation is to assist youth hockey initiatives, non-profit organizations and groups that provide vital services to those in need in our community.
