Three power-play goals helped the Amerks to a victory over Toronto on home ice Friday night. Taylor Fedun (1+1), Cal O'Reilly (0+2) and Cole Schneider (0+2) had multi-point nights.

Hudson Fasching and Casey Nelson, who were sent down to get a pair of games in between Sabres matches each scored.

Toronto opened the scoring on a goal from Kasperi Kapanen, but Rochester answered with three-straight goals. The Marlies scored again early on in the third to make it 3-2, but Nelson and Daniel Catenacci closed out the scoring to put the game out of reach. Justin Bailey also scored for Rochester.

The power play finished 3-for-7 while the Amerks penalty kill went a perfect 4-for-4.

Linus Ullmark stopped 34 of 36 shots.
