NEW YORK -- For the second time in a row, Red Wings left wing Henrik Zetterberg
has been named the NHL's No. 1 star for the week ending February 18.
Rounding out this week's "Three Stars' are Anaheim Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne and Colorado Avalanche center Joe Sakic.
Zetterberg tied for the league lead with eight points (four goals, four assists) in three games as the Red Wings (38-16-6) moved into first place in the Central Division and Western Conference.
Zetterberg had a hand in all eight Wings' goals, starting with an assist in a 6-1 loss to Philadelphia on Feb. 12. In Dallas, on Feb. 14, he scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in a 3-1 win over the Stars. He tallied three goals, including the game-winner, and one assist in a 4-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Feb. 17.
Zetterberg leads the Wings in scoring with 64 points (30 goals, 34 assists) in 60 games and ranks second on the club and tied for fifth in the NHL with a plus-minus rating of plus-25.
