Wings trim 15 players from camp roster

DETROIT -- The Red Wings trimmed 15 players from its 48-man training camp roster. Nine players were assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins, Detroit ’s affiliate in the American Hockey League. Six other players in camp on amateur or professional tryouts were released.


With the cuts, Detroit ’s training camp roster stands at 33 players.
