DETROIT -- The Red Wings are currently No. 1 in the weekly NHL Power Rankings according to ESPN.  Detroit moved up one spot from last week’s No. 2 position with the following comments from ESPN: “A dramatic win by the Wings in the waning seconds against Anaheim on Saturday gave Detroit its third straight win. The team is getting scoring from up and down the lineup.”

The Wings wrap up their four game home stand this week by hosting last year’s first round playoff opponent, the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday (7:30 p.m. EDT) and the current No. 2 team in the ESPN Power Rankings, the Nashville Predators on Saturday (7 p.m. EDT).
