DETROIT -- The Red Wings and Detroit Tigers will take center stage at SportsFest, a celebration of all things Detroit sports, on Saturday, Feb. 12. The second annual fan appreciation event hosted by 97.1 The Ticket will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich. Admission is free after a $5 parking fee per vehicle.

The Red Wings and Tigers will feature 160,000 square-feet of interactive games, music, movies, memorabilia and prizes. In addition, former players will be on hand to interact with fans, including former Tigers pitchers Frank Tanana, Dave Rozema and Dan Petry; outfielder Rick Leach; and former Red Wings forward Darren McCarty and current radio play-by-play man Ken Kal. Additional player appearances may be announced.

SportsFest will also include panel discussions, live broadcasts by 97.1 The Ticket, opportunities to meet on-air personalities, sports memorabilia displays, and a sports pub. Mascot appearances, speed pitch machines and youth clinics will also make it a fun, memorable day for kids.
