Wings renew rivalry with Blues

by Bill Roose / Detroit Red Wings
DETROIT -- For the second time this season -- and the first at Joe Louis Arena -- the Red Wings will face the St. Louis Blues in a Central Division match-up.

The two teams met on Oct. 22 in St. Louis with the Wings coming away with a 4-3 victory on the strength of Pavel Datsyuk and Johan Franzen, who had two points each.

Tuesday's game will mark the 246th time that the Wings and Blues have played during the regular-season with Detroit holding a slim all-time record (102-100-43). At home, the Red Wings hold a 59-43-20 mark against the Blues.

In his last nine games against the Blues, Datsyuk has 12 points, including three goals.
