Wings' rally in GM Wintergarden

DETROIT -- The Red Wings will host a pep rally in celebration of their appearance in the 2008 Stanley Cup finals on Thursday, May 22 at the General Motors Wintergarden inside the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.

The pep rally, which starts at 11:30 a.m. EDT, will run until 1:30 p.m.

Join Wings TV broadcaster Ken Daniels, along with Red Wings alumni Ted Lindsay, Dino Ciccarelli, Doug Brown and John Ogrodnick for an afternoon of Red Wings' spirit! Alumni will be on-hand to sign autographs and interact with fans throughout the rally.

Fans can also enter to win great Red Wings' prizes, including two tickets to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals; a Henrik Zetterberg autographed jersey; and a Nicklas Lidstrom autographed puck.

Throughout the rally, fans can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, soda and ice cream as well as Red Patrol giveaways, including pom-poms, rally towels, team posters and more.

In addition, Red Wings Western Conference champions merchandise, Stanley Cup finals merchandise and discounted Red Wings' gear will be available for purchase.
