Detroit has lost five of its past seven games and is six points behind Tampa Bay for second place in the Atlantic Division following a 3-1 loss to the Florida Panthers on Thursday. "We took a step forward against Pittsburgh," captain Henrik Zetterberg said. "We didn't play bad [against Florida], we just have to come back strong Friday." Tonight, in a possible first round playoff preview, Detroit will face Tampa Bay as they search for their first win against the Lightning. Tampa got the better of Detroit in a 4-3 shootout win back in November, and won a 5-1 decision at Amalie Arena on January 29th. Jimmy Howard will be back manning the goal tonight after Mrazek got the call last night and Sunday in Pittsburgh.
