The New York Islanders and Red Wings have each won a game in the season series, and today the Red Wings will look to earn two critical points in what could be their last visit to Nassau Coliseum. They'll aim to do so with young netminder, Petr Mrazek, who made 23 saves in a 4-0 shutout against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. He replaced Jimmy Howard on Thursday after Howard allowed three goals on 10 shots one start after allowing five goals on 22 shots Tuesday.

Center Pavel Datsyuk has also returned after missing five games because of a lower-body injury. "He's a game changer," forward Luke Glendening said. "He slows down the game. Gives us all a lot more confidence so to have him back in the lineup was huge." Datsyuk didn't have a point, but has six points in his past six games.
The Red Wings are in third place in the Atlantic Division, five points ahead of the Boston Bruins and six ahead of the Ottawa Senators. Tonight, they'll look to add to their lead.
