After a promising start to the season, Detroit will look to bounce back from a recent slump against a rolling Vancouver team. Little has come easy for the Red Wings over the past four games, who have earned just two points during that stretch.
"We need to get better as a team," said coach Babcock. "We can be way better as a team than we have been, but I don't think we're that far away."
Tonight, on game one of the four-game Canada swing, the Wings will look to get back on the right track in Vancouver.
"It's going to be a fun matchup," said Henrik Zetterberg. "We have to play better in our own end, tighten up, but we've been working on it in practice, in video, and hopefully we can play better (tonight)."
