DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings are proud to announce another year of Red Wings Official Viewing Parties for the 2014-15 season. Red Wings fans will have the opportunity to connect and cheer on the team with thousands of their peers during the 2014-15 season at a variety of locations throughout Michigan.

The fun begins on Tuesday, Oct. 21, with the first of seven Red Wings Official Viewing Parties at Hard Rock Café (45 Monroe Ave., Detroit) as the Red Wings travel for an Original Six matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Former Red Wings forward Joe Kocur will be in attendance signing autographs and taking pictures from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Fans in attendance at Hard Rock Café can also play Hockeytown Trivia, enjoy great food and drink specials and enter for the chance to win autographed memorabilia and tickets to upcoming Wings games at The Joe.

The Red Wings and MotorCity Casino Hotel (2901 Grand River Ave., Detroit) will once again stage a number of Official Viewing Parties at Sound Board, the state-of-the-art live performance venue inside MotorCity Casino Hotel. Six viewing parties will be held at Sound Board, including the second Official Viewing Party on Wednesday, Oct. 29 against the Washington Capitals with former Red Wings defenseman Larry Murphy appearing as a special guest. Fans are welcome to enjoy 15 big screen TVs, complimentary Little Caesars pizza and soft drinks, a variety of interactive games, photo opportunities with the Red Wings Zamboni, Hockeytown trivia, $2 draft beers (ages 21+) and chances to win autographed merchandise or tickets to future Red Wings games.

Viewing parties at Sound Board feature free admission; however tickets are limited and will be made available through Ticketmaster approximately two weeks before each event date. There will be a two-ticket limit per transaction. All guests traveling from Canada will be asked to claim their tickets at Will Call on the day of the event. Only Sound Board viewing parties require tickets, all other Official Red Wings Viewing Parties are open to the public with no ticket required.

Additional viewing parties will also be hosted at Applebee’s locations throughout Michigan. A full schedule of Red Wings Official Viewing Parties is listed below. Alumni appearances will be announced closer to each date and are subject to change.
