Wings announce preseason schedule

DETROIT -- The Red Wings today announced their return to the ice with their 2011-12 preseason schedule. The home lineup includes two Friday night contests vs. Philadelphia and Toronto and two Sunday afternoon tilts vs. Chicago and Pittsburgh.

The road swing includes a special contest vs. the Flyers in London, Ontario, at the John Labatt Centre.

On-sale dates for individual preseason games have not been announced.

Fans can still lock in great low prices for the 2011-12 season by becoming a Red Wings season-ticket holder. Full season ticket packages as well as the 10 and 20 Game Plans are currently available.
