DETROIT -- Senior Vice-President Jim Devellano has announced that the Detroit Red Wings ticket prices will remain unchanged for the 2006-07 season.
"The new collective bargaining agreement with the players has allowed us to stabilize ticket prices, and for that we are very happy," said Devellano.
The announcement marks the fourth consecutive year without an increase.
The Red Wings recently completed a 58-win season (tied for fourth-best in NHL history) and captured their fifth Presidents' Trophy as the NHL's regular-season champion. Since the inception of the Presidents' Trophy in 1986, no other franchise has won the award more than twice. Ticket renewal forms will be mailed to season ticket holders in the next two weeks.
