The Wings' date with the desert

The Red Wings will pay the Phoenix Coyotes in the Western Conference quarterfinals of the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs, which will likely begin by mid-week.


The Red Wings (44-24-14) needed a 3-2 overtime victory Sunday at Chicago to lock-up the No. 5 seed. The Coyotes (50-25-7) are the No. 4 seed.

Here is the schedule for the best-of-seven series:
