After a six point road trip in Canada, the Red Wings return home from a four-game swing to face the Stars.

Detroit came within one game of a perfect 4-0 road trip, but instead of getting an impressive sweep through western Canada, the Red Wings looked tired playing their third game in four nights and were doubled up, 4-2, by the Winnipeg Jets on Monday. The loss came despite a superb outing by goalie Jimmy Howard, who made 43 saves on 47 shots. They'll look to bounce back tonight.

The Red Wings are still tied for first place in the Atlantic Division, a notable feat considering they have a negative overall goal differential this season. Now that Detroit's road trip is over the team will get to stay put for a while. The Wings play seven of their next eight games at Joe Louis Arena.
