-- The Red Wings will salute the troops on Military Appreciation Night this Thursday when the Wings take on the Minnesota Wild at 7:30 p.m. EST at Joe Louis Arena (FOX Sport Detroit & 97.1 The Ticket).
Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the first 10,000 fans to enter the game will receive a Red Wings dog tag, courtesy of Bank of America; and a poster featuring Kris Draper, Nicklas Lidstrom
and Brian Rafalski (CLICK PLUS SIGN TO SEE POSTER). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Wings fans and country fans alike will be treated to a special performance during the first intermission by country star Derek Sholl. He will perform his troops-themed hit, “When They Come Back” and will also play a special post-game concert for military members in the Olympia Club. The post-game concert is a ticketed event.
