The only good to come of yesterday 7-2 loss against the Flyers, is that Detroit will play again only 20 hours later to try and put that game behind them. “You’ve got to hit rock bottom before you can turn it around. Hopefully we did that.”said Zetterberg. The Red Wings are 2-4-0 since the trade deadline, and Boston is right on their tails, down only three points in the Atlantic Division.

This afternoon, the Red Wings will go with Petr Mrazek in goal as they are set to face-off with the Pittsburgh Penguins for the third time this season. The Red Wings and Penguins have split their two earlier match-ups this year, Detroit winning 4-3 in overtime at home, and Pittsburgh winning at Console Energy Arena 4-1 a month ago.
