Red Wings to present banner at Karmanos Cancer Institute Weisberg Treatment Center on Wednesday

DETROIT -- Detroit Red Wings Advisor to Hockey Operations, Chris Chelios, and Bekki Nill, wife of Vice President and Assistant General Manager Jim Nill, will present a team-signed and fan-signed banner on behalf of the team at Karmanos Cancer Institute Weisberg Treatment Center in Farmington Hills, Mich., this Wednesday afternoon, November 2, as part of the National Hockey League’s Hockey Fights Cancer month.
Players and fans signed the eight-foot by two-foot banner on the JLA concourse behind Section 112 during the Wings’ Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Friday, Oct. 21. The banner includes the Red Wings’ breast cancer awareness logo and reads “The Detroit Red Wings Support You.”
