DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings, FOX Sports Detroit and CBS Radio today announced the 2013-14 Red Wings local television and radio schedules.
For the 14th year, all Wings regular-season and playoff games will be carried live by CBS Sports Radio with Ken Kal and former Red Wings captain Paul Woods providing the call. CBS Radio will broadcast the games on a combination of 97.1 The Ticket and 1270 AM with 35 games simulcast on both stations.
FOX Sports Detroit (FSD) continues its award-winning production and carriage of Red Wings games by airing a total of 74 preseason and regular-season contests with 61 games slated for FSD and 13 on FOX Sports Plus (FSPLUS) with the popular announce team of Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond. Additionally, FOX Sports Detroit will carry all non-exclusive games in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs if the Wings qualify.
FOX Sports Detroit’s comprehensive coverage includes pregame and postgame editions of RED WINGS LIVE. In addition to live reports from Joe Louis Arena and road venues, studio portions of RED WINGS LIVE will originate from FOX Sports Detroit’s studios at its Southfield headquarters. A half-hour Red Wings Season Preview special premieres Sept. 27 at 5 p.m.
A total of 11 Red Wings games will be nationally exclusive broadcasts on NBC or NBCSN.
