Pucks for Paws pet calendar on sale

DETROIT – The Red Wings today announced that the new Pucks for Paws Pet Calendar, presented by Raymond James, will be on sale for $20 on the concourse during tonight’s preseason game against the Chicago Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. at Joe Louis Arena. All proceeds from the Pucks for Paws calendar will benefit the Michigan Humane Society.

Pucks for Paws calendars will also be on sale on the concourse during the Red Wings final preseason home game on Friday, Oct. 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Joe Louis Arena. Additionally, calendars can be purchased online at

Red Wings fans can also purchase the Pucks for Paws calendar during the Michigan Humane Society’s annual Mega March for Animals on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Belle Isle State Park in Detroit. Red Wings forward Riley Sheahan will be on hand to autograph the calendar from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. for an extra donation of $10 to the Michigan Humane Society.

The Red Wings Pucks for Paws Pet Calendar features several Red Wings players either with their own pets or a pet from the Michigan Humane Society. Players in the calendar include Henrik Zetterberg, Niklas Kronwall, Jimmy Howard, Johan Franzen, Justin Abdelkader, Jonathan Ericsson, Drew Miller, Gustav Nyquist, Tomas Tatar, Danny DeKeyser, Luke Glendening, Riley Sheahan and Brendan Smith.
